Dave Does First Recovery Ride in Anchorage Alaska

Brian, Shay and I road the snow packed Coastal Trail in Anchorage. Fortunately we saw no moose but did have spectacular views.

We shared the trail with scores of fat tire cyclists, skiers, runners and dogs. Most dogs were wearing booties. It was 23 degrees and the trail was bumpy with hard and soft snow cover.

It certainly was a good start for a guy that has not ridden for nearly a year. It was fun but not high end smooth shifting. My own road bike is smoother and as easy to ride on pavement as this fat tire ebike on the snow trail.
